Colab is a multidisciplinary design studio based in London, founded in 2025 by Luke and Mike. Between us, we have over 25 years of experience in the creative industry, spanning big agencies, freelance illustration and plenty in between. That breadth of experience shapes how we work today. From large scale murals to small start up company logos, we approach each and every project with the same energy and passion.
We take a personal, straightforward approach to design. You won’t find us hiding behind industry jargon or making things sound more complicated than they need to be. We care about the work, we care about the people we work with, and we want to make things that we’re genuinely proud of.
Every project is different, but our approach stays the same: listen properly, think carefully, make things well, and work collaboratively from start to finish.
What We Do
-
We build identities that feel true to the people and ideas behind them. From the logo and type to colour, imagery and the little details, we create a visual language that’s simple, recognisable and built to last.
-
A good name should feel like it belongs. We spend time finding names that are clear, distinctive and have a reason behind them — names that give a brand somewhere to go.
-
Some brands need to live in a space. We design the things that help make that happen. From large scale murals events and pop-ups to signage and physical experiences. We think about how people move through a space, what they notice and what they remember.
-
We like making things look good, but there’s more to it than that. We shape photography, illustration and imagery to make sure everything feels like part of the same story, with the right balance of character and purpose.
-
Packaging has a job to do. It needs to catch your eye, make sense quickly and give you a reason to pick it up. We create packaging that feels considered, works in the real world and gives the brand its own space on the shelf
-
A brand doesn’t stop at the edge of a printed page. We bring the same thinking into websites, social and digital experiences, making sure they feel natural, useful and unmistakably part of the brand.
